Workshop on Curriculum: Learning Outcome and Writing RPS

English Literature Department held a Workshop in reviewing the curriculum of the UIN Jakarta English Literature study program which was held on 20 November, 2019, the outcome of the workshop focuses on the Preparation of Curriculum by a Small Team coordinated by the Head of Study Program and the Secretary of Study Program. After the curriculum draft is completed, it will be discussed in the workshop on the discussion of the Draft of the Curriculum with all the lecturers of English Literature Study Program. This discussion workshop can be done more than once as needed. To discuss each subject field in the curriculum, it is necessary to make a Decree (SK) CURRICULUM TEAM DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LITERATURE 2019-2020 with the coordinator of the Head of Study Program, with division of teams:
1) Literature Team: Consists of all Literature lecturers (Inayatul, Elve, Maria Ulfa, et al)
2) Language Sector Team: Consists of all Language lecturers (Sholikatul, Pita, et al)
3) Cultural Studies Teams: (Ida, Nina, Arif, et al)
4) Translation Sector Team: Consists of all Translation lecturers (Supardi, Agus, et al)
5) Linguistics Sector Team: Consists of all Linguistics lecturers (Asep, Hilmi, Tuti, et al)

Next year a workshop will be held to finalise the Study Program Curriculum by inviting external speakers / experts to discuss the Final Study Program Draft Curriculum. The results of the finished curriculum and the latest one will be re-workshop for dissemination with stakeholders. For now, all lecturers of English Literature study programs are focused on making RPS courses held this semester according to file standards that have been emailed before. Lecturer activities in the English Literature Study Program are expected to continue to run independently despite the limited funding from the Faculty. For this reason, there is a need for lecturer cash Rp. 25,000 / permanent lecturer study program for joint activities with English Literature study program lecturers. Lecturers are expected to participate in the LITA Conference in Malang in June 2020 in Malang (funds needed are approximately 3 million / person – including conference fees, accommodation, and transportation with personal costs. Proposal Seminar was held by the Study Program in December 2019 and January 2020. There should be a Creative Teaching Workshop for lecturers of English Literature Study Program held by the Study Program, and all lecturers are expected to be able to do scientific publications (journals) every semester / year.
